Long term project - amanda riekert

My long term project is going to be about the general interests in my life. My photos will be introducing the different stages of my childhood to teen years. Slowly changing interest in activities and growing up. Almost similar to a time line

My issue

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder caused by refusal to maintain a healthy body weight and an obsessive fear of gaining weight. People with anorexia nervosa continue to feel hunger, but dont allow themselves large quantities of food. The average calory intake of a person with anorexia nervosa is 600-800 calories per day, but there are extreme cases of complete self-starvation. Anorexia most often appears among adolescent girls However, it can affect men and women, and Anorexia nervosa occurs in females 10 times more than in males.
I honestly think that women , and men around the world are seeing their imperfections; instead of being confident and grateful for their self appearance. We all are being compared to the perfect complection, thats all we've ever known.
